Katwijk

This picture is from mid-July when we all rode via bike tracks through the sand dunes from The Hague to Katwijk. Esther and Julia took turns on the back of my bike. July broke 300-year-old Dutch records for hours of sunshine and high temperatures but since the beginning of August the country has reverted to its more traditional pattern of rainy, cool and windy summers.
